Headings, bold and italic text, ordered and unordered lists, nested lists, tables, fenced code blocks, inline code, blockquotes, horizontal rules, links and images all carry across with sensible styling. Two things are worth checking before you send the result. Very wide tables and long unbroken lines of code cannot reflow the way they do in a browser, so they may be clipped at the page edge — shorten long lines or reduce columns.
